I have always been fond of computers and electronics; fortunately I also work in the Information and Technology Systems field (though I am more on the Applications side now, but that doesn't stop me from messing around with computers and electronics). I also like programming, web development, testing products and writing about them. That's how BayReviews came to be. So, look around and let us know how we are doing and how we can improve.

My name is Kevin Ram and I am the new Reviewer and Editor here at BayReviews. I've always been interested in computers, electronics and checking out the latest gadgets. Now, I have the chance to write my own reviews on them as well as proof reading articles. Besides checking out the latest gadgets, I enjoy playing sports, video games and hanging out with friends and family.

As a child, I was always taking electronics/computers apart and putting them back together. It got me in trouble a lot, but now I get paid to do it as a Desktop Support Technician. Being in I.T people always ask my opinion on the latest and greatest gadgets, so I like to stay on top of the latest technology trends. When I’m not taking computers apart, I help mentor junior college football players to make the transition from a two year college to a four year college. Otherwise I’m at the gym working out.

Growing up, I raided old radios and televisions for parts. Unfortunately that was an age when electrical shocks awaited the unwary and I received my share. I've approached computers from the same direction, how they work and what makes them work. Now, the only shocks are when they don't work as expected. I'm hoping to help users avoid those shocks. Dan Gathright, aka Dangerous Dan, has an Associates Degree in Instrumentation. Six years with the US Navy as a Data Systems Technician (Repair of computers and all of the peripherals). Followed by a 41 year career as a Laboratory Instrument Technician.
